Qiaxi offers a peaceful mountain-and-grassland travel experience in Xinjiang, combining forested valleys, alpine meadows, rivers, wildflowers, Kazakh cultural atmosphere, and scenic driving routes. It is one of the landscapes that makes Ili attractive for slow nature travel, especially in summer.

The best time to visit is June to August, when the grasslands are green and the weather is suitable for outdoor travel.
