Discover Xunhua

Xunhua offers a distinctive Qinghai travel experience shaped by Salar culture, Yellow River scenery, mosques, local food, valley landscapes, and the cultural mix of northwest China. Located in eastern Qinghai, it gives travelers a quieter view of regional life between the Tibetan Plateau and the Muslim cultural world of northwest China.

A visit can include exploring local markets, trying regional food, seeing mosques and villages, walking along river valleys, and using Xunhua as part of a route between Qinghai and Gansu. The best time to visit is May to October, when the weather is more comfortable for outdoor travel and regional road trips. Xunhua works well with Xining, Linxia, Lanzhou, Xiahe, Gannan, and Qinghai Lake routes.
