Discover Yangshuo

Yangshuo offers one of China’s most scenic countryside travel experiences, combining karst mountains, rivers, cycling routes, bamboo rafts, villages, caves, rock climbing, cafés, and a relaxed traveler atmosphere. Located near Guilin, it is one of the best places to experience the Li River landscape up close.

A visit can include cycling through countryside roads, taking a bamboo raft on the Yulong River, hiking viewpoints, exploring villages, visiting caves, watching evening shows, trying local food, and enjoying slow days surrounded by limestone peaks. The best time to visit is April to June or September to October, when the scenery is green and the weather is more comfortable. Yangshuo works well with Guilin, Longji Rice Terraces, Sanjiang, Zhaoxing, and wider Guangxi routes.
