Discover Xijiang

Xijiang offers one of Guizhou’s most visually distinctive village travel experiences, combining Miao ethnic culture, wooden stilt houses, terraced hillsides, traditional dress, festivals, local food, night views, and mountain village scenery. Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is especially known for its large-scale village landscape and cultural performances.

A visit can include walking through village lanes, seeing wooden houses on hillsides, trying local sour soup dishes, watching cultural performances, visiting viewpoints, and learning about Miao traditions. The best time to visit is April to October, with spring and autumn especially comfortable. Xijiang works well with Kaili, Zhenyuan, Guiyang, Huangguoshu Waterfall, Libo, and wider Guizhou routes.
