Discover Qingchengshan

Qingchengshan offers one of Sichuan’s most peaceful sacred mountain experiences, combining Daoist temples, forested trails, mossy steps, mountain streams, old pavilions, and a calm atmosphere close to Chengdu. It is often associated with Daoist culture and works well for travelers looking for spiritual scenery and gentle hiking rather than dramatic high-altitude adventure.

A visit can include walking forest paths, visiting Daoist temples, taking cable cars or hiking routes, enjoying mountain views, and combining the trip with nearby Dujiangyan. The best time to visit is March to June or September to November, when the weather is comfortable and the mountain is especially pleasant for walking. Qingchengshan works well with Chengdu, Dujiangyan, Mount Emei, Leshan, Jiuzhaigou, and wider Sichuan routes.
